VIEW MORETina Tchen serves as president and CEO of TIME’S UP Now and the TIME’S UP Foundation, overseeing the organizations’ strategic plans to change culture, companies, and laws in order to make work safe, fair, and dignified for women of all kinds. In 2017, Tina co-founded the TIME’S UP Legal Defense Fund with Robbie Kaplan, Fatima Goss Graves, and Hilary Rosen; since then, the Fund has connected thousands of people to legal or public relations support for sexual harassment across dozens of different industries.
A former assistant to President Obama, executive director of the White House Council on Women and Girls, and chief of staff to First Lady Michelle Obama, Tina has worked to advance gender equality, particularly for working women. At the White House, Tina spearheaded the first-ever White House Summit on Working Families and helped form the White House Task Force to Protect Students from Sexual Assault.
Prior to taking the helm at TIME’S UP, Tina was a lawyer specializing in workplace culture, advising companies on gender inequity, sexual harassment, and diversity. She has served on numerous strategic advisory boards for organizations, businesses, and nonprofits, including the United State of Women, which she continues to co-chair.
Deepna Devkar is Vice President of Data Science & Engineering and heads up the Data Intelligence team. She works to understand the CNN audience across devices and build recommendation systems that increase user engagement across all CNN brands.
Prior to joining CNN, Devkar started as Vice President of Data Science Products for WarnerMedia, where she led a team of data scientists, engineers and product managers to build scalable data science products across WarnerMedia’s brands. She also held positions at Viacom and Dotdash (formerly about.com) where she attained expertise in the linear TV space and digital media and publishing landscape, respectively. Before her transition into data science, she spent over a decade in scientific research, studying the psychological and neural underpinnings of human behaviour.
Recently, she was recognized for her contribution as Folio’s Top Women in Media, Corporate Champion in 2018. Devkar has enjoyed working on projects ranging across audience segmentation, content recommendation and personalization, search engine and revenue optimization. She is most passionate about evangelizing data science and regularly speaks at meetings and conferences.
Marjan van Loon became President Director of Shell Nederland on January 1, 2016.
Born in Helmond (1965), she studied Chemical Engineering at Eindhoven University of Technology. Immediately after her studies she joined Shell in 1989 as a chemical engineer. Since then she has held several positions both at home and abroad.
Between 1997 and 2007 she worked in Australia and Malaysia. Before becoming President Director of Shell Nederland, she was Vice President Integrated Gas & LNG (liquid gas). In that position she was responsible for the development of LNG activities, including the design and development of Floating LNG and LNG as fuel for the transport sector.
Marjan is married and has two children.
Richard Lord is the Regional Chief Information Officer for HSBC Commercial Bank in Asia Pacific, based in Hong Kong. He and his team are responsible for the operational systems and delivery of market-leading technology innovation for the bank.
Richard has more than 30 years of experience, including global technology leadership roles in the advertising industry and banking. His career has included 17 years as an entrepreneur and business owner.
Richard is an active advocate of diversity and addressing bias and discrimination in the workplace.
Jane joined Tesco in October 2019 as Head of Transformation for the Finance, Property and People functions.
Prior to Tesco, Jane was Head of Technology and Change for HR and IT Functions Transformation at Barclays. In the 10 years at Barclays she held a number of leadership roles across Technology and Change Management, Operations and Chief Controls Office supporting the Investment and Consumer Banks. She has also worked in similar roles at the Royal Bank of Scotland and ABN Amro Bank. Jane began her career in Technology at Esso and later moved into consultancy working for Accenture.
Simone Steel is the Chief Data Officer for Nationwide Building Society and the leader of their Data & Analytics community. Before joining Nationwide in April this year, she held leadership positions at Morgan Stanley, Refinitiv (spin off of Thomson Reuters) and RBS within their Risk and Finance functions.
Her experience in Data and Information Technology extends over 30 years, developed through software engineering, data architecture and the transformation of complex systems. In the last 10 years she has focused on Data and Technology strategy definition and execution, including the implementation of modern ways of working for data-driven and digital businesses.
Simone has worked in locations across Europe, Asia and the Americas, in a variety of industries including Financial Services, Telecommunications, Pharmaceuticals, Consumer Goods and Technology and Data Services.
Simone is an active ambassador for women and BAME professionals in Technology and Finance. Her academic background includes Computing, Economics and Data Science.
Aubrey Blanche is The Mathpath (Math Nerd + Empath), Global Head of Equitable Design & Impact at Culture Amp, and a startup investor/advisor. She questions, reimagines, and redesigns the systems that surround us to ensure that all people access equitable opportunities. Her expertise covers talent programs and accessible product development to event design and communications. She is the inventor of the balanced teams approach and a culture of belonging, and the Balanced Teams Diversity Assessment in the Atlassian Team Playbook. Robin is a technical executive with expertise leading business strategy, technology and operations. She is an innovator and storyteller with consistent track record of engaging winning teams
At UPS, Robin leads the Business Relationship Management team supporting $200M in technology strategic initiative investments and the UPS Global Smart Logistics Network. In previous UPS assignments, she led customer experience and the successful digital transformation of the global CRM platform and master data management. Robin participates in numerous UPS steering committees, ensuring technology investments are aligned with business strategy and transformation goals. Prior to UPS, Robin has held executive roles in software and hardware engineering, chief technology officer, quality, marketing and customer service at HP and Tyco International Retail Security.
Robin earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Engineering and MBA in Technology Management. She holds seven design patents and remains hands-on as a certified Salesforce.com administrator. Robin is active in the UPS Women’s Leadership Development BRG, Georgia State University MIS Advisory Board, Society of Women Engineers, Women in Technology International and Technology Association of Georgia.
Angela Maragkopoulou is the CIO B2B / Senior Vice President Business Solutions, a member of the Telekom IT Board, leading a multinational team creating software across all Business Processes for Deutsche Telekom’s Business Customers. An Award winner, a Data Scientist at heart and a thought leader in the areas of AI, Data Analytics and Business IT Architecture, has led teams across the globe specializing in Enterprise Sales and product management, commercial management, pre/sales and service management. Her latest focus has been agilizing large organizations, minimizing Time to Market and increasing Quality, all focusing on an Agile Culture.
Fiona O’Brien is Chief Channel Officer for Lenovo EMEA, as well as Head of EMEA Operations. Responsible for implementing Lenovo’s go-to-market model, Fiona fosters relationships with key partners in distribution, retail and the reseller landscape, while also leading the sales operations. Fiona is based in Dublin, Ireland and holds a BSc Management & Adv Diploma Marketing Techniques from Trinity College, Dublin, and an MA Marketing. She is a member of the Lenovo EMEA Leadership Team and holds a seat on the corporate Diversity and Inclusion Board.
