We're gearing up for our Women in Tech Africa summit in March 2020 and this time we're introducing a brand new Innovations Throughout Africa awards programme.
What is Innovations Throughout Africa?
Innovations Throughout Africa is an initiative to celebrate and raise awareness of the incredible tech innovations being developed across the African continent!
We're calling for nominations for innovative achievements from African-headquartered organisations, project teams or individuals. These can be in any form, from ground-breaking tech products to revolutionary services and processes.
What are the 5 categories?
The categories will be split into the 5 regions across Africa. Individuals or companies will be able to enter their regional innovation to have the chance to be awarded the title of #1 tech innovation within said region.
- North Africa
- East Africa
- Southern Africa
- West Africa
- Central Africa
What's the prize?
The successful applicant for each region will be invited to participate in a special panel discussion celebrating innovations throughout Africa on stage at Women in Tech Africa 2020!
There will also be a large map within the conference that will highlight the winning successful innovation for each of the African regions, giving them extra exposure in front of the 1,200 event attendees.
How will the winners be decided?
Your entry will be reviewed by a selected panel of judges who will be announced shortly. If you have any questions prior to making your application please email frances@maddoxevents.com.
How do I enter?
To enter, each individual or company will have to complete this form. You can also choose to nominate someone for an award.
The deadline for entries will be 10th January 2020.
Winners will be announced 31st January 2020.
